Hi! I am Crystal, the artist / designer behind Crystal Lea Jewelry.

Welcome to my little space on the web!

My journey in jewelry making started over 15 years ago as a little pastime while my twins would nap. First learning how to bead, I quickly pushed myself to grow and learn more. I taught myself how to wire wrap, stamp jewelry, and work with PMC clay. Over time I began to feel God pushing me, knowing He had given me a talent and a fire to create, I fought the fear and stepped out of my job as a Juvenile Probation Officer and into the world of metalsmithing.  I bought my torch and jewelry saw and got to working learning how to use them. That little pastime and the desire to create turned into my calling, the place where I finally felt I was meant to be. I put my heart and soul into my work, and I love every minute of it … I cannot imagine not creating beautiful jewelry to share!

I hand fabricate all my work using fine silver, sterling silver, 14k gold filled, genuine gems, and a lot of love in my little in-home studio in Southwest Nebraska. Striving for well-made comfortable designs that are simple yet stunning. Handcrafted jewelry designed to be treasured!

My inspiration depends on the day, some designs happen simply from sitting at my bench and letting the materials talk, while others transpire from one of my sketches. I have always been a rock collector, and drag home rocks from everywhere I go, so it’s no surprise that pretty gemstones just speak to my heart.
